Whew...

-Been super busy and that is always a good thing - Big thanks to the New Jersey Folk Festival for inviting me. We had a blast and got some great feedback from folks. Always appreciated. - The Working Waterfront project is kicking... I have a lot of the sound files I need for the soundscape and we ( Bill and I)are recording a bass and banjo track tomorrow as an underlay of the whole thing. An original new tune entitled Duffy's Cut. And we will be doing a short set at Lumen. You have to check out Lumen! - Can not believe Summer is nigh. - Had a meeting at McSorleys (highly recommended meeting place) for the shanty CD; should begin recording in July and everyone is psyched to get going. It will be fun to do and, with the talent available, will be a great thing to take away from the Museum shop when we have the monthly shanty sing at the Noble Collection. - and a big thank you to Erin and Dawn at the Noble for allowing us to record a video for my song Out in Michigan there. What a backdrop. If you have not been to the Noble you need to get there now! It is beautifully maintained and drop dead gorgeous. Jan's son Eric Hebert did the videography and I am waiting to see how it turned out. Again... we had fun... - had a chance to catch up a bit with my old banjo teacher, Tony Trischka, at the NJFF. Nice to see Skyline reunited. -and as always... send us your venues and your desires to see us and maybe we can make it happen. ciao
