good stuff

Lets see: - this Sunday at noon Bob Conroy and I are gonna double up on the old 5-strings at the Veterans Memorial Hall at Snug Harbor for a Civil War tune. The event is the opening of the Staten Island Time Machine Essay Contest for high school kids. - later that same day... Shanty Sing at Snug Harbor in the venerable home of the shanty, The John Noble Collection. Bring a voice or just come to listen. Open to the public and free. - Kermit in the April issue of The Banjo Newsletter! Not often I admit to talking to frogs but who can resist an amphibian banjo picker. -Risky Business at the Tavern on April 14th! And in Ridgefield Park on April 28th. - Found out that Harbortown was awarded a Summerfest grant to play a show the same weekend as Art by the Ferry. I believe it will be on June 8th but will get back with the details. - Shellshocked is doing great: won Best Short Feature at the Princeton Environmental Film Festival and has upcoming screenings in San Francisco, a couple in Canada, and back to the East Coast at Cambridge. Don't miss it.
